Since 1964, The Meridian student newspaper has called out inequities in the Bronx while keeping students up-to-date on the news and cultural happenings around Lehman College.
Crystal Queer / LGBTQI+ Club

The LGBTQI+ Club (aka Crystal Queer) is a social safe space for all queer-identifying people and their allies. The active club hosts study breaks, drag performances, and panels on healthcare, wellness, and professional development.

CUNY LGBTQI+ Consortium

Co-directed by MX Cooper and Matthew Frye Castillo, the Lehman College chapter of CUNY LGBTQI Consortium oversees the LGBTQI+ Oral History Project, the Queer Reads Book Club, and organizes panels and lectures of best-selling writers, acclaimed artists, and inspiring activists.
