The music driven, highly literary Opossum is published in Portland. Their first issue came out late last year and featured a vinyl track of poet Emari DiGiorgio reading her piece, Taylor Swift and Her Win-A-Bagel Winnebago. They feature great fiction too, especially Allison Bulger’s Darker, More Real about the birth of black metal in Norway.

This year they also published Once More with Feeling from Tina Cane, the innovative poet laureate of Rhode Island.
